5/4/25: The Jew, The Gentile and The One New Man

May 4, 2025    Mike Almeyda

Today, we embark on a profound journey through the roots of our faith, exploring the true meaning of being God's chosen people. We delve into the lineage from Abraham to Jesus, uncovering how God's covenant promises were consistently passed down through the youngest sons. This pattern culminates in Jesus, God's youngest son, who fulfills both the Abrahamic covenant and the promise of the scepter of Judah. We learn that the term 'Jew' originally referred to only three tribes of Israel, not the entire nation. This revelation challenges us to reconsider our understanding of biblical history and identity. The message emphasizes that in Christ, we are all one new creation - neither Jew nor Gentile. This powerful truth tears down the walls that have long divided humanity and invites us to embrace our true identity as children of God, heirs to all His promises. We're called to dive deeper into God's Word, understanding His blueprint for our lives and stepping into the fullness of who we're meant to be in Christ.
