Get Ready for What God Is About to Do | The Plumb Line
God is preparing His people for what’s coming—but preparation requires refinement.
In Amos 7, God gives the picture of a plumb line: a standard used to determine whether something is truly straight. In the same way, we can't measure our spiritual lives by how far we've come, how we compare to someone else, or what we've already overcome. Our standard is the Word of God.
In this message, Pastor Michael Rozell challenges us to examine the areas of our lives we've allowed to become comfortable: compromise, passivity, rebellion, lack of discipline, misplaced priorities and the "little things" we may have stopped confronting.
God's correction isn't rejection. It's preparation.
If God is going to entrust us with greater assignments, we have to be willing to let Him straighten what is out of alignment. That means growing in obedience, integrity, accountability, worship, prayer, serving and excellence—not just inside the church, but in every area of our lives.
The question isn't simply, "Am I better than I used to be?"
The question is: Does my life line up with God's plumb line?
